Doing what I love to do • taking 2 cultures and mashing them together. You are going to love this recipe for Amritsari fish that I used for fish and chips, and then for some Tacos!

Here it is


2 Bonesless White Fish - Tilapia/catfish/haddoc, 1.5 inch cubes
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp red chilli powder
4 Tbsp ginger paste
1.5 Tbsp Garlic paste
1 Cup graham flour (besan)
2 Tbsp corn starch 
1 Tsp Carom seeds (ajwain)
1 Egg
1/2 Cup yogurt 
1 L frying oil
1 Tsp chaat masala 
Salt to taste


Green Mint Chutney 
Sweet Tamarind Sauce 
Shredded radish 
Picked carrots 
Red chilli 
Red onions 
Corn taco 


Marinate fish pieces in lemon juice, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt • Let fish marinate for 15-20 mins • Mix in graham flour, carom seeds, egg, yogurt and corn starch • Heat your oil at 350-370 degrees F • Deep fry the fish untill golden brown and • Drain and place on paper towl • Sprinkle chaat masala and garnish with cilantro and even mint leaves • Serve with shredded radish which has been seasoned with black pepper.

For the tacos, have fun with it. Use the fish as a base, and top it off with whatever you want. It will taste friggen amazing
